Group Exercise

Ellis Athletic Center offers more than 60 weekly group fitness classes! That gives you more than 60 opportunities each week to find an activity that you love and that moves you closer to your fitness goals. Our classes are offered at a variety of days and times so you can find something that fits into your busy schedule, whether you prefer to work out first thing in the morning or later in the evening. We cater to all ages and abilities, too, so you can find a class that’s right for your fitness level and age. Now there is no excuse not to get in a great workout!

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own!


BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats.

LesMills GRIT

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.


Indoor cycling class led by motivating instructors and accompanied by a unique playlist of energizing music. Ride the bike and get toned in one workout – intervals of cycling and upper body weight training.


Join us for a FUN aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to lose weight and have FUN!


50min (Creative Ladder Intervals Mega Bootcamp) Designed for all-around fitness, hitting targets such as injury prevention, stability, strength and cardiovascular conditioning. Mixes up your workout, and yes, we all love it.


50min High Intensity Interval Circuit Training is a station based class focusing core, cardio and agility. This class has 2 rounds of 17 stations full of fitness fun. It is important to be on time for explanations of stations.


Create a mind-body connection with this flowing sequence of poses linked together with deliberate breaths. Yoga postures are connected with breath, emphasizing the development of heart, strength and flexibility. All levels welcome!


PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
